Role Overview

Groom field Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced 5-Axis Laser Setter / Operator and 2-Axis Laser Setter / Operator to join a busy manufacturing and fabrication environment in Coventry.

Working as part of the Manufacturing team, you will be responsible for setting and operating 5-axis laser cutting machinery to manufacture high-quality components in line with production schedules, engineering drawings and customer specifications.

This is a hands-on role where accuracy, attention to detail and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and operate 5-axis laser cutting machinery
  , ensuring components meet drawing tolerances and customer specifications.
• Manufacture components within agreed timescales and in line with the production build plan.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate machine setup and production.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments where required to maintain quality and efficiency.
