We are a specialist engineering company in Daventry who provide high-quality conveyor belts to customers across a wide range of industries including Aerospace, Defence and Motorsport. Due to continued growth, we are now looking for a hands-on Mechanical Fitter / Technician to join the workshop team taking on various assembly, build, repair and reconditioning, with occasional travel to customer sites across the UK or further
BASIC SALARYup to £33,000 depending on experience

JOB DESCRIPTION- Manufacturing, building, fitting and repairing products in the workshop and occasionally on customer sites
- Carrying out quality control inspections to make sure your work meets the required standards
- Reading and working from technical drawings (schematics), client specifications and work instructions
- Making sure work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
- Working closely with colleagues across production and technical
- Looking after tools and equipment and keeping the workshop clean and organised
We’re looking for someone who is dependable, safety-conscious and takes genuine pride in their work.
- Have experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment
- Have a practical, proactive approach to problem solving
- Be flexible when it comes to working hours
- Possess great attention to detail and the ability to read technical drawings
- Be competent with bench work and various hand tools
- Have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Hold good communication and customer service skills
- Have a full UK driving licence
