6 Month Rolling Contract | £35.00 - £38.00 per hour | Outside IR35 3 Shift Rotation (Mornings, Afternoons & Nights)

Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for your next contract opportunity? We are seeking experienced multi-skilled engineers with either a mechanical or electrical bias to support a high-performing advanced manufacturing operation in Coventry.
Working within a technically challenging production environment, you'll play a key role in maintaining, improving and troubleshooting a wide range of manufacturing equipment and plant machinery. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing engineering team and work on cutting-edge manufacturing processes within a business investing heavily in its operations.
Contract Details- £35.00 - £38.00 per hour

Rotating 3-shift pattern:
- Morning Shift
- Afternoon Shift
- Night Shift
Flexibility to work across all three shifts is essential.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned preventative maintenance activities across manufacturing plant and equipment
- Respond to breakdowns and perform fault diagnosis to minimise downtime
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions
- Support machinery upgrades, installations and continuous improvement projects
- Install, commission and modify production equipment
- Assist with factory layout changes and production line improvements
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Work closely with production teams to maximise equipment availability and performance
- Liaise with external contractors and suppliers when required
- Previous experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing, engineering or production environment
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities
- Mechanical knowledge including:
- Hydraulics
- Pneumatics
- Fluid power systems
- Steam systems
- Electrical fault-finding experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering documentation
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance
- Competent IT skills including Microsoft Office
- Manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, defence or high-volume production experience
- Compression moulding equipment experience
- Waterjet cutting equipment knowledge
- City & Guilds, ONC, HNC or equivalent engineering qualification
- Forklift Truck Licence
- MEWP Licence
