Part time Named Nurse – Children In Care Band 8a

An exciting opportunity has arisen as a Named Nurse For Children In Care within the Children's and Young Peoples Physical Health Directorate within Coventry. This role offers a valuable opportunity to be part of leading an innovative service, develop your professional expertise and make a difference where it matters.
Applications are invited for enthusiastic and experienced Nurses or Public Health Practitioners with experience of working with Children in Care and clinically/operationally leading Children's Services to join our amazing team within Coventry & Warwickshire Partnership Trust.
Responsibilities- Act as the main point of contact for professional liaison and consultation regarding children in care.
- Lead the promotion of good practice for Children in Care, advocating for their specific needs within our organisation.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across health services and in the local authority and Integrated Care Board to ensure that the health needs of Children in Care are recognised, understood and met.
- Provide quality assurance in relation to the completion of statutory health assessments.
- Provide leadership, training and support; including the provision of specialist advice to Coventry community professionals in relation to improving the health and well‑being outcomes of Children In Care.
- Share responsibility for the clinical, operational, strategic leadership and management of the CIC nursing service.
- Ensure statutory compliance of health assessments for children in care to enable them to receive timely and high‑quality health care.
