Dream Medical are working with the MOD and have a requirement for a full time Band 6 Practice Nurse within their Bramcote barracks.

• Work autonomously in the provision of nurse‑led clinics, including communication with outside agencies and disciplines.
• Provide clinical treatment, screening and advice within your level of competence in accordance with NMC Codes of Practice, Scope of Professional Practice and defense Medical Services (DMS) clinical guidelines and protocols.
• Be involved in the development of programmes of care/service delivery within your scope of practice, including the ability to perform audits and conduct electronic searches, to meet the demands of the Population at Risk (PAR).
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate clinical care of patients autonomously within your level of competence/scope of practice.

• Registered Nurse (A) Level 1 Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and hold a valid, in‑date Personal Identification Number (PIN) with no restriction of practice.
• At least 2 years primary healthcare nursing experience and at least one‑year experience as a Band 6 Practice nurse.

• Immunisation and vaccination (including children if a families practice)
• Venepuncture
• Audiology
• Ear Care (including irrigation)
• Smoking cessation
• Minor injuries and illnesses
• Travel health
