Quality Lead – Compliance & Assurance (Education & Training)
Location:
Hybrid/Remote. Office attendance is required on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Coventry, with additional travel to delivery sites as required.
Salary: £37,500 – £40,000.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Occasionally an earlier finish on Fridays, dependent on workload and business activity.
My Client is looking to appoint a Quality Lead – Compliance & Assurance to support and improve its Education and Training provision. The position is newly refined after restructuring a broader role and is expected to start by the end of June or early July, depending on notice period.
The RoleThe role focuses on keeping and enhancing quality standards, compliance processes and internal assurance across the organisation’s education provision. It is hands‑on and execution‑based, requiring close collaboration with internal teams and active contribution to systems, processes and standards development.
Position Suitability- An operational background within education or training
- Previous experience as an Assessor or Tutor
- A blend of operational and quality/compliance exposure
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
- A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset
- Support and maintain Quality Assurance and Compliance Standards across the business
- Attend and support external quality visits
- Provide guidance and support internally to Tutors and delivery teams
- Ensure processes and documentation remain compliant and fit for purpose
- Support ongoing implementation and embedding of newly introduced systems and processes
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners
- Lead and support a small team of direct employees and freelancers
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the quality function
The successful candidate will manage and support a small, experienced team comprising permanent staff and freelancers.

Knowledge or exposure to Ofsted would be beneficial. Candidates who have previously operated as an Ofsted Nominee, or who are open to developing into a Nominee position over the next 12‑24 months, would be highly attractive.
