Quality Engineer

To cover all aspects of the Quality function within UML to support customers, suppliers, current production and new project introduction.

• Build and maintain Customer, Supplier, and Internal relationships
• Support project development with defining quality control methods and gauging systems to meet Customer expectations
• Development and maintenance of Control Plans
• Regular Control Plan audits to ensure compliance with internal procedures, ISO
  9001, IATF
  16494 and VDA
  6.3
• Supporting any current production quality concerns
• Facilitate the investigation of any internal, customer and supplier concerns applying 8D approach with a cross functional team
• Design data collection and analysis to assist problem solving activities driven by facts and figures
• Management and communication of Quality KPI related information to internal/external customers
• Administration of Customer portals (quality metrics and problem solving)
• Statistical analysis of process and MSA studies
• NPI activities to support the business
• IMDS report creation and submission
• Any other ad hoc investigations required by the company

• Strong influencer with excellent interpersonal skills across all levels
• Ability to motivate in a team oriented, collaborative environment
