Your responsibilities as Farm Shop Butcher
 
* Prepare and present a range of meat products including beef, pork, lamb and poultry
 
* Produce value-added products including sausages, burgers and kebabs
 
* Serve customers and provide knowledgeable product guidance
 
* Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety and compliance
 
* Complete packaging, labelling and stock rotation activities
 
* Support daily production requirements and attractive counter displays
What we're looking for in a Farm Shop Butcher
 
* Previous retail or commercial butchery experience
 
* Strong knife skills across a variety of meat products
 
* Experience producing value-added products such as sausages and burgers
 
* Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and stock control procedures
 
* Experience working within a customer-facing environment
Working Hours
 
* 42 hours per week
 
* 5 days from 7 on a rota basis
 
* Typical shifts of 07:00 – 16:00 or 08:00 – 17:00
 
* Regular Saturday working required
 
* Sunday working on a rota basis (2 in
4)
 
* Additional paid hours available during seasonal peak periods
