Finning Coventry is seeking an Industrial Electrician. Murray Cable are an electrical services contractor offering design, estimating, supply, installation, testing & commissioning. Murray Cable are part of Finning (UK) Ltd, the UK and Ireland’s dealer of Cat® machines, engines, equipment and power solutions.

• Install, maintain, modify and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment/lighting systems.
• Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches and switch gear.
• Utilise blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer’s installation manuals to complete assigned projects.
• Survey electrical systems, circuits and plans.
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Termination of power/control/monitoring wiring.

• CSCS Electricians grade/JIB card
• NVQ level 3
• Test & inspection 2394/2395 (old 2391)
• Full UK drivers licence
• Fire alarm installation experience
• Containment installation (ladder/tray/basket/galvanised conduit) experience
• Desirable:
  Confined space trained/qualified
• Desirable: PASMA trained/qualified
• Desirable: MEWP/IPAF trained/qualified
• Desirable:
  First aid trained/qualified
• Desirable:
  Comp Ex trained/qualified
• Desirable: SMSTS or SSSTS qualified

• Have deep understanding/extensive knowledge and considerable experience of electrics
• Work to BS 7671 (18th Edition) wiring regulations and in compliance with national electric code/regulations
• Familiar with NICEIC requirements
• For industrial/commercial works (not domestic)

• Varying electrical qualifications as listed above

• Salary £20.21 per hour (basic)
