Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA) – Female Only

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA) to join a specialist service supporting survivors of Domestic Abuse, Honour-Based Abuse (HBA), Forced Marriage (FM), and Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG).

This rewarding frontline role involves supporting high and medium-risk clients, helping them stay safe, access support services, and rebuild their lives.

• Managing a caseload of survivors
• Undertaking risk assessments and safety planning
• Providing crisis intervention and emotional support
• Delivering advocacy and ongoing case management
• Attending MARAC and multi-agency meetings
• Working closely with police, housing providers, and support agencies

• Experience supporting survivors of domestic abuse or vulnerable individuals
• Strong safeguarding and risk assessment knowledge
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Understanding of barriers faced by BAME and migrant communities
