You will assume a crucial role in managing and delivering effective and efficient services for children, young people, and their families.
What is the job role?
As a Social Worker at Coventry City Council, you will play a vital role in supporting children, families and adults across our city. You’ll work as part of a values‑driven, supportive team, using your professional expertise to safeguard, empower and improve outcomes for the people you work with.
Your role will involve:
- Building meaningful, respectful relationships with individuals, families and carers
- Completing high‑quality assessments that inform effective planning and decision‑making
- Working collaboratively with partners, agencies and communities
- Using your professional judgement to manage risk and promote safety
- Championing the rights, wellbeing and independence of the people you support
- Contributing to a culture of learning, reflection and continuous improvement
