Kids​/Youth Football Coach

Mercia Athletic FC is a community-focused football club affiliated with the Birmingham FA. Competing within the Midland Football League (Steps 5-7 of the English football pyramid), the club provides a clear pathway for player development, with teams expanding from U8 through to U16 and senior levels. Mercia Athletic FC leverages this professional affiliation to enhance its coaching and development programs. We are dedicated to fostering local talent and providing opportunities for players to progress within a structured and supportive environment.

Mercia Athletics FC is seeking enthusiastic Youth Coaches for our this volunteer opportunity to contribute to our thriving football community. In this on-site role based in Birmingham, Coaches will design and deliver engaging training sessions, develop players’ technical and tactical skills, and ensure a safe and inclusive environment. Coaches will also motivate players, oversee match preparations, and work collaboratively with staff to foster player growth and team spirit.

• FA Safeguard Certificate for Youth & Children
• Experience Working with youth
• Coaching Certificate Level 1 (Desireable)
• Resides in or arround Birmingham.
• Drivers License

• Funding Opportunities For Coaching License From Level One up to UEFA C (Further can be negotiated)
