Class 1 driver

Class 1 Driver - Rates of Pay:

* Monday - Friday - £21.29 per hour inclusive of your holiday pay. (PAYE only)

Class 1 Driver - Shifts and

Hours:

* Monday to Friday - no weekends!

* Start times: 22:00pm-02:00am - 8-10 hours per day

This role is commutable from:
Coventry, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon, Rugby, Banbury, Southam, Kenilworth, Southeast Birmingham, Daventry, Crick and the other surrounding areas.

Join Gi Group and work with one of the UK's leading parcel delivery companies. Out client provides domestic and international deliveries for high-volume business customers. This position is a temporary contract, offering ongoing work 12 months per year for the right candidate.

Class 1 Driver
- The Role:

1. Load / unload freight and secure loads
2. Complete scheduled deliveries and collections (varied parcel weights)
3. Ensure accurate completion of documentation
4. Perform vehicle checks and report defects
5. Work efficiently to meet deadlines

Class 1 Driver - the perfect candidate will have:

* Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence + Driver CPC & DIGI Cards

* Minimum 6 months Class 1 licence + 6 months Class 1 driving experience

* Max 6 SP penalty points accepted (no other endorsements)

* Will be over 21 years of age for insurance purposes

* Will be flexible and remain calm under pressure

* Will have the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills, as well as an attention to detail

* 2 years of work / education history
