Freight Forwarding Operator (Import / Export)

Aberdeen, UK Overview We are seeking a hands-on Freight Forwarding Operator to join a growing logistics team in Aberdeen. This role is suited to an experienced operator who can manage day-to-day forwarding activities across imports and/or exports, with a strong operational focus.

Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end freight forwarding operations Handle import entries, including customs clearance processes (preferred) Coordinate export shipments across air and sea freight Liaise with carriers, clients, and internal teams to ensure smooth shipment movement Prepare and process shipping documentation accurately Monitor shipments and proactively resolve any operational issues Ensure compliance with relevant customs regulations and industry standards Requirements Proven experience as a freight forwarder / operator within logistics Strong hands-on operational background

Experience with import entries (highly desirable) Exposure to export operations, particularly air and sea freight Good knowledge of freight forwarding documentation and processes Strong organisational and communication skills Desirable Multi-modal experience (imports  exports) Experience in a fast-paced forwarding environment Ability to manage workload independently Package Competitive salary based on experience Opportunity to join an established and growing operation in Aberd
