People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Coventry, West Midlands

, Articulated Lorry Driver or Class 1 Delivery Driver

• Monday to Friday
• AM starts between 00:00 - 04:00 or PM starts between 17:00 - 22:00
• Regular weekend overtime available
• Long shifts available to maximise earnings

AM Shifts

• £17.86 per hour
• £22.33 per hour after 9 hours
• £35.73 per hour on the sixth shift

PM Shifts

• £19.05 per hour
• £23.81 per hour after 9 hours
• £38.11 per hour on the sixth shift

As an HGV Class 1 Driver
, you will receive:

As an HGV Class 1 Driver
, your duties will include:

• Completing RDC and brewery deliveries using curtain-sider vehicles
• No handball required
• Completing vehicle checks before and after each shift
• Ensuring loads are secure and compliant
• Following delivery schedules and routes efficiently
• Adhering to all road traffic legislation and company procedures

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Valid UK Category CE (Class
  1) Driving Licence
• Minimum twelve months  Class 1 driving experience
• Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences
• Good communication skills
• Professional and reliable approach to work

• Previous RDC delivery experience
• Curtain-sider experience
• Brewery or multi-drop experience would be advantageous

• Driver assessment required prior to start
