Job Overview - Van Driver

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as a Van Driver. This role involves operating vehicles and managing deliveries, requiring a professional approach to driving and logistics. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe transportation of secure goods, maintaining excellent communication with clients and team members. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in commercial driving within a supportive environment, contributing to the efficient running of our operations.

Shifts - Van Driver

40 Hours over 4 X 10 hour shifts. (Extra Shifts also available for Over-Time)

Monday to Sunday Working Rota

Duties - Van Driver

• Safely operate company 3.5 Tonne Vans. (Van Driver)

• Collect high value goods from various locations.

• Assist with loading and unloading items, which may involve heavy lifting and manual handling.

• Communicate effectively with clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays or issues.

• Maintain cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicle to ensure optimal performance.

• Complete all necessary documentation related to deliveries accurately and promptly.

• Full Training provided

• SIA licence provided.

• Follow health and safety protocols at all times during transit and loading activities.

Requirements - Van Driver

• Proven van driver experience, preferably within a commercial or warehouse setting.

• Valid driver licence with a clean driving record.

• 10 Year Checkable work history for security check reasons.

• Experience in commercial driving, demonstrating safe driving practices on the road.

• Physical capability for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks.

• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.

• Organised with good time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.

• Ability to work independently and responsibly under minimal supervision. This role is ideal for someone with strong driving skills who takes pride in delivering excellent service while maintaining safety standards throughout their workday.
