HGV Class 2 Driver – Coventry

Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to support our client based in Meriden, Coventry.

This is an excellent short-term opportunity for a reliable Class 2 driver looking for consistent afternoon work. The role involves driving refuse collection vehicles between sites and emptying them at the designated facility.

• Drive HGV Class 2 refuse collection vehicles between operational sites.
• Empty refuse vehicles at the required location.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
• Ensure vehicles are operated safely and in line with company procedures.
• Comply with all Road Traffic Regulations and Health & Safety requirements.
• Complete any required paperwork accurately.
• Maintain a professional attitude while representing the company.

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category
  
  C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Good understanding of drivers' hours and UK driving regulations.
• Ability to work independently.

• £19.00 per hour.
• Monday to Friday working pattern.
• Afternoon shift: 1:30pm – 10:30pm.
• Start date:
  
  Monday 3rd August.
• 8-week assignment.
• Weekly pay.
• Immediate start available.
