A.W. Jenkinson Transport Ltd is recruiting experienced  HGV Class 1 Drivers, LGV Drivers and C+E Drivers  to join our professional transport team based at our  Meriden depot .

This is a  permanent, full-time  opportunity offering  £15.50 per hour , a  £10.00 tax-free daily meal allowance , guaranteed weekly hours,  20 days annual holiday entitlement , a  salary sacrifice pension scheme , modern Scania vehicles, and a consistent  4 on / 4 off days shift pattern  throughout the year.

The Role
As a  Class 1 Driver (C+E) , you will operate modern articulated vehicles and walking floor trailers, transporting bulk products throughout the UK.

What's Involved?

• 4 on / 4 off day shift pattern

• Typical start times between 05:00 and 06:00

• Average shift length approximately 12 hours

• Nationwide bulk haulage operations

• Operating modern articulated vehicles and walking floor trailers

• Consistent work throughout the year

• Full training available for suitable candidates

Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence with  LGV C+E (Class
1) entitlement

• Minimum 1 year's Class 1 driving experience

• Maximum 6 penalty points

• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card

• Valid Digital Tachograph Card

• Good geographical knowledge of the UK road network

• Strong understanding of UK and EU Drivers' Hours Regulations

• Bulk haulage experience beneficial but not essential

• Maximum body weight of 22 stone due to fall-arrest gantry safety systems
