Class 1 Driver The Role
Hire Giant are looking for a reliable and professional Class 1 Driver to work with our client based in Daventry, this will consist of doing 1 trunk per night to Thurrock.
Your responsibilities as a HGV1 driver will include:- Completing deliveries to businesses
- Driving the class 1 curtain side trailer in a safe manor
- no handball, this is a nice haulage role
- Ensuring all paperwork and PODs are completed accurately
- Maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Valid HGV 1 (Category C+E) Licence
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card
- Strapping and Reversing competence
- New pass LGV1 Drivers welcome training and support provided
- HGV LTD drivers welcome
- Start times between 21.00pm/8-10 hours work.
- PAYEPay rate:£18.50 - £19.00 per hour
- Weekly pay, every Friday
