A Warehouse Operative is responsible for the efficient movement, storage, and dispatch of goods within a busy distribution centre or logistics facility. Key tasks include picking and packing customer orders, loading and unloading vehicles, conducting stock checks, and maintaining accurate warehouse records. Operatives must adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines, including manual handling procedures and the safe use of warehouse equipment.

Productivity targets are a regular feature of the role, and the ability to work at pace while maintaining accuracy is essential. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, dependable, and comfortable working in a team‑focused, shift‑based environment that may include nights, weekends, and bank holidays. Previous warehousing experience is beneficial, and MHE or forklift licences may be advantageous.
