People Solutions are currently recruiting for Yard Operatives to join our well-established client based in Coventry, West Midlands.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.
This position will suit applicants looking for a role as an Order Picker, Yard Operative or General Operative.
Shifts:Monday
- Friday: 6.00am - 2.00pm
£12.71 per hour
Benefits:Your benefits as a Yard Operative / Yard Operative will be:
- Weekly pay
- Excellent hourly rates
- No weekend work
- Overtime available
Your duties as a Yard Operative / Yard Operative will be:
- Picking and packing orders accurately
- Operating LLOP and PPT trucks
- Receiving goods in and checking deliveries
- Picking items using a voice-activated pick system
- General warehouse duties
- Stacking and wrapping pallets ready for dispatch
- Heavy lifting involved
Skills:
The skills required to be a Yard Operative / Yard Operative will be:
- Basic level of English (spoken and written)
- Reliable and punctual
- Good communication skills
- Reasonably physically fit as heavy lifting and carrying involved
Experience:
- Previous warehouse experience (not essential as full training is provided)
- Full site training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
