The shift pattern for this role is 14:00pm-22:00pm - Monday-FridayThe Role Of Picker Packer
Duties will specifically cover the following areas:
- Picking sales orders accurately ensuring hourly picking targets are met
- Use of barcode scanning handheld devices to record pickings and bin movements
- Driving low level order picker to transport picked goods to dispatch area
- Assisting with additional dispatch, goods in and loading tasks
- Notifying supervisor or management of any errors or stock discrepancies
- Housekeeping duties as per rota
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Experienced warehouse worker
- Physically fit
- Self-disciplined
- Numerate and literate
- Good communication skills
- Have a great eye for detail
- Excellent competitive salary
- Holidays 22 days per year rising by 1 each year to 25, including an option to buy or sell a maximum of 3 days, plus statutory holidays
- After 6 months a range of benefits: life insurance, pension, cycle to work scheme and an optional healthcare scheme
- The option to become a shareholder in the business after 6 months employment
