La Verne, CA (100% Onsite).

Schedule:

Jan - Dec (non-peak): M-Th, 4/10 schedule;
Feb - Apr (Tax Season): M-F, 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM (most days). Type:
Direct Hire. This position is in a fast-paced, client-facing environment with a fun, collaborative office culture.

$75,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

• Prepare and apply tax laws to individual, S-Corp, C-Corp, Partnerships, LLCs tax returns
• Conduct tax research and advise clients on tax strategies
• Review work for compliance and accuracy
• Mentor junior staff on tax principles and client service
• Directly engage with clients - building relationships and providing exceptional service
• Handle admin tasks as needed (phones, scheduling, filing, assembly, etc.)

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - REQUIRED
• Minimum 3 years' experience in public CPA firm working with taxes - REQUIRED
• Strong tenure and proven track record of stability
• Must be comfortable presenting to clients and working directly with them
• Excellent attention to detail in a high-volume environment
• Bookkeeping experience welcomed - willing to train on tax for the right candidate
• Team player with strong communication skills
