• Ensure all forms are complete and the pertinent information is recorded.
• Maintain outcome data.
• Perform auto refractions, topographical mapping, wavefront analysis, lensometry, pachymetry and visual acuity measurements.
• Evaluate and measure pupil size and responses, use slit‑lamp microscope and applanation tonometer, and properly instill eye drops.
• Understand all equipment and instruments used in the center, including the LASIK suite.
• Provide pre‑ and post‑operative care instructions.
• Assist in surgery by preparing the laser room with supplies and sterilized equipment.
• Stock all medication and medical supplies, planning the work week to ensure completion of required tasks.
• Call to request pre‑/post‑ops on surgery patients.
• Order all medical supplies.
• Perform regular and emergency maintenance on medical equipment.
• Assist in other areas as needed.

• 2+ years experience as an Ophthalmology Technician is ideal.
• Knowledge of LASIK procedures is a plus.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Desire to provide an exceptional patient experience.

USD $22.00 – $25.00 per hour.
