Accounts Receivable Supervisor– High-Growth Private Equity-Backed Construction Services Company (Los Angeles, CA)

Base: $85-90K + Full Benefits

CSuite Financial Partners/Ravix Group LLC has been retained by a rapidly expanding, LA-based commercial contracting services company to find a dynamic Accounts Receivable Supervisor.

This $75M revenue, Private Equity-backed organization operates 14+ business units, operating in branches across Los Angeles, Orange Country and San Diego, and is in aggressive growth mode after 30+ years of success built on a reputation for quality, leadership, and a winning culture.

We’re seeking a strategic, hands-on AR Supervisor who thrives in fast-paced environments. This role will be responsible for managing the company’s accounts receivable function, including invoicing, collections, and credit management. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both managerial oversight and active involvement in customer collections. The ideal candidate will combine financial discipline, strong communication skills, and practical problem-solving abilities to ensure timely collections and reduce outstanding receivables across multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the AR function across headquarters and multiple branch locations.
  • Oversee timely and accurate billing, invoicing, and cash application.
  • Personally manage collection efforts on high-balance or delinquent accounts.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor AR policies, procedures, and credit controls.
  • Partner with branch managers, project managers, and service coordinators to resolve billing or customer disputes.
  • Maintain and monitor AR aging reports; establish collection targets and KPIs.
  • Regularly communicate AR performance and risk exposure to senior leadership.
  • Support month-end close and work with the Controller/CFO on AR-related reporting.
  • Lead process improvements, including automation and efficiency initiatives, for billing and collections.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of progressive AR experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Hands-on experience with collections, dispute resolution, and customer negotiations.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AR best practices.
  • Experience in construction, service trades, or related industries (highly preferred).
  • Proficiency in ERP/accounting software and Excel; experience with service-industry billing systems a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work across branches and coordinate with multiple business units.
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid Time Off / Vacation
  • Opportunity to shape and professionalize the AR function in a growing company.
  • Career growth potential within a multi-branch, $75M service organization.

This is a rare opportunity to join a well-established yet rapidly growing organization where you can make an immediate and lasting impact. If you're a roll-up-your-sleeves financial leader ready for your next challenge, we want to hear from you.
