A growing manufacturing company is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager to join its Covington facility. This role will be instrumental in overseeing plant-level financial operations, delivering accurate reporting and cost analysis, and partnering with operations leadership to drive performance and efficiency.

• Manage financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the Covington manufacturing facility.
• Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Maintain and validate standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead; analyze cost variances and identify improvement opportunities.
• Partner with plant and corporate leadership to evaluate production efficiency, develop cost metrics, and support decision-making.
• Oversee inventory accounting and controls, including cycle counts, physical inventories, and cost-of-goods reporting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with SAP and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work cross‑functionally and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
