What you will do- Gain hands-on experience as a Mid-Level Automotive Technician in Goodyear Auto Service centers.
- Diagnose technical issues using mechanical aptitude while delivering outstanding service.
- Perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, and problem-solving including brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, preventive maintenance, wheel alignments, and tire installation.
- Provide clear communication and guest service, mentor junior technicians, document all work on repair orders, and report any safety issues to management.
- Promote teamwork to deliver timely and accurate guest care during all operating hours and maintain adherence to company policies on vehicle care and operation.
- Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting, standing, bending, and squatting as needed.
- Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
- Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- Commitment to learning new technologies; ability to review, analyze, interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions.
- Commitment to following established safety policies and procedures.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- ASE Certification
- Previous experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests
- Experience in electrical, air conditioning, and fuel systems
