Staff Pharmacist, PRN

Responsibilities

• Performs duties of distribution, documentation and compounding related to drugs, solutions and equipment to meet the needs of patients and staff.
• Responsible for the reviewing, compounding, dispensing and monitoring of medication therapy for infants, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, including dosing variations, nutritional needs and disease states across age groups.
• Supervises pharmacy technician activities including monitoring of all orders filled by auxiliary personnel.
• Performs patient-focused care clinical activities throughout the hospital to provide patients with optimal medication therapy.

• MINIMUM
  
  EDUCATION REQUIRED:
  
  Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy with a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Pharmacy.
• Minimum Experience Required N/A
• Minimum Licensure/Certification Required By Law Licensed as a registered pharmacist in the state of Georgia.
• Additional Qualifications Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
