WhatYou’ll Do
- Clinical Documentation:
Accompany the provider into patient rooms to thoroughly document patient encounters in the electronic medical record (EMR). - Chart Management:
Document laboratory results, radiology studies, medications administered, patient responses to treatment, and physician consultations. - Record Review:
Research and summarize pertinent past medical records to support clinical decision-making. - Provider Support:
Assist with obtaining supplies or items needed by the physician during clinic sessions. - Team
Collaboration:
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Practice Administrator to support clinic operations.
- Thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Are highly detail-oriented and organized
- Enjoy supporting providers and improving workflow efficiency
- Demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and strong communication skills
- Can manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of medical office experience or equivalent healthcare-related education
- Strong computer and typing skills
- Customer service-focused mindset
- Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred)
- Experience with electronic medical record systems (preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
- High level of discretion and professionalism
