Loader Operator – Southern Readymix, LLC, Covington, GA

• Operate front‑end loader to transport and load aggregates into the batch plant.
• Maintain correct stockpiles of materials (sand, gravel, cement, fly ash, etc.).
• Ensure consistent feed of materials for concrete production.
• Perform daily inspections on plant maintenance, greasing plant components, ensuring rollers and belts are working and aligned, checking oil levels and compressor belt condition.
• Perform daily equipment inspections, fueling, minor maintenance, greasing tractors, checking fluid levels, and replacing filters.
• Keep work area, plant yard, and stockpiles organized and free of hazards.
• Assist with plant cleanup, shoveling spilled material, washing down areas, cleaning slump rack, removing build‑up, keeping trash containers empty and adding them for pickup, cleaning pits, and washing the loader afterward.
• Communicate with batch plant operator and truck drivers to ensure smooth production.
• Follow all safety policies, including PPE use and traffic flow rules in the yard.

• Experience operating loaders, skid steers, or similar equipment.
• Knowledge of aggregate materials and concrete production (preferred).
• Basic mechanical skills for maintenance of plant and equipment.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and physical conditions.
• Safety‑conscious mindset.

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs occasionally.
• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, climbing, and operating equipment.
• Comfortable in dusty, noisy environments.
