Production Supervisor 3rd Shift
Location:
Covington, GA. Join our team at RESRG Automotive, a leading global supplier of coated exterior systems and components.
As a Production Supervisor, you will develop and improve manufacturing processes, lead the department to achieve cost, schedule, and productivity metrics, ensure safety and operational effectiveness using lean manufacturing, and mentor employees.
What You Will Do- Lead, track and improve performance on key department goals and objectives.
- Lead performance management and corrective action processes of direct reports through coaching, development, and accountability.
- Continuously improve plant performance through process improvements and lean manufacturing techniques to develop crew members and enhance performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize production requirements and meet quality and change management standards.
- Collaborate with leadership and technical support to drive a safety‑focused manufacturing environment.
- Address questions, concerns, and problems expressed by the crew.
- Implement, maintain, and support company policies, safety program, and good housekeeping.
- Escalate issues to appropriate members of the organization.
- Ensure necessary tools and materials are available for crews.
- Foster a high morale and positive work environment.
- 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with high potential for career development.
- Ability and willingness to lead and manage a shift of 25-30 hourly employees.
- Ability to understand and make decisions based on real‑time production data.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Engineering or related field.
- Team lead/Supervisor experience.
- Experience with Injection Molding.
