Converting Supervisor

McKinley Paper and Packaging Company, a leading independent Corrugated Packaging manufacturer, is seeking a Converting Supervisor for our facility in Covington, GA. The position alternates between a two‑week AM shift and a two‑week PM shift.

• Lead safety processes and coordinate department safety education.
• Achieve quality initiatives by leading processes that ensure the lowest cost and best quality.
• Minimize waste within the department by driving awareness, training, and accountability.
• Drive maximum throughput within the department by increasing uptime and machine speeds.
• Identify machine issues and work with maintenance to correct them.
• Ensure accurate reporting of production documentation and data entry.
• Coach and develop employees to maximize effectiveness.

• 3 to 5 years of progressively responsible experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity and the ability to self‑direct and motivate.
• Knowledge of converting department and converting processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate with hourly personnel as well as managers.
• Ability and flexibility to think, react, and adapt quickly to changing customer requirements and manufacturing challenges.
• Corrugator industry knowledge is required.
• Kiwi software and BHS equipment knowledge is a plus.

Competitive salary based on experience (approx. $93,700.00–$).
