Operator Associate I | Covington, GA | Hiring Immediately

• Competitive starting pay range of $21.62‑$22.72 per hour, paid weekly
• Pay:
  Competitive starting pay rate based on experience and qualifications
• Increases:
  Eligible for annual and skill-based wage increases
• Bonuses:
  Eligible for monthly bonuses based on plant productivity

• 2nd shift
• 07:00 PM‑07:00 AM
• 12 Hours

• Consistently and safely operates machines at or above standard levels of operation including waste, quality, efficiency and utilization
• Troubleshoot, identify and correct machine related problems through proper adjustments to various parts of the machine
• Provide innovative solutions for production issues
• Provides support and guidance to less experienced personnel
• Completes appropriate end of shift paperwork, accounting for crew time, machine time, and production quantities
• Able to inspect and recognize defective product and make machine adjustments to correct cause of defects
• Observes all housekeeping, standard work and safety guidelines
• Mechanical aptitude, demonstrated problem‑solving skills and effective communication skills – written and verbal are required

• Must be able to constantly stand, walk, use hands, and arms
• Must be able to occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb stairs
• Must frequently be able to bend at the waist/hips
• Constantly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Constantly required reaching away from the body and frequently reaching overhead
• Ability to keep up with a machine conveyor line
• Able to work in differing temperatures
• Must be able to work 12‑hour rotating shifts and overtime as required
