Warehouse Assembler (Kitting) | Details and Compensation:

• Location: Covington, GA 30014 – 100% on-site
• Payrate:$15.50/hr
• Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
• • Overtime may be required

Warehouse Assembler (Kitting) | Summary and Highlights:

The Warehouse Assembler (Kitting) supports production by assembling, sorting, and inspecting materials and completed kits while following established procedures and quality guidelines. This role also includes accurate documentation/recordkeeping and moving materials within a warehouse/manufacturing environment.

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Warehouse Assembler (Kitting) | Responsibilities:

• Assemble kits and complete routine production/assembly tasks by following written procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines
• Sort and inspect materials/parts; maintain quality documentation and records
• Use basic equipment (including inspection tools, light equipment, and handcarts) to move materials, parts, assemblies, and scrap within the work area
• Perform basic measurements/inspection tasks (including reading rulers) and complete required paperwork clearly and accurately
• Work effectively in a metrics-driven environment while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards

Warehouse Assembler (Kitting) | Requirements:

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days
• Experience: 1+ year of warehouse/manufacturing/quality experience (minimum 1 continuous year with the same employer) required
• Skills: Ability to read/write/understand documents in English; basic math; general computer skills; effective communication
• Physical/Work Environment: Ability to perform physical job duties including frequent standing/walking and lifting/moving 50+ lbs; comfort working in a warehouse environment that may have temperature extremes and moderate-to-loud noise
