Senior Pastor

Overview

Zion Baptist Church of Newton county, in Covington, GA, is seeking a seasoned, veteran Pastor to proclaim the Gospel and to love, care for, and minister to its body of believers. Zion Baptist is a Bible based church. The Sr Pastor will be responsible for preaching and teaching GOD's word faithfully. Our new pastor will be a "mission minded" pastor, taking the Word outside the walls of the church.

He will be active in evangelism and discipleship. He will be a shepherd for the flock; knowing, loving, and serving its members. He will be responsible for pastoral care through prayer, visitation, and counseling.

• Willingness to rely on the leading of the Holy Spirit in worship, growth, and leadership
• Experience in directing worship and guiding spiritual growth within the church
