Wound Care - Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Piedmont Newton

We are recruiting an APP (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our wound care team at Piedmont Newton Hospital. This is a full‑time Monday through Friday position with no call responsibilities. You will work alongside two physicians providing care to a variety of wound care and hyperbaric oxygen patients within both inpatient and outpatient settings.

• Provide medical services to individuals, families and/or groups, including diabetic ulcers, skin tears, non‑healing surgical wounds, vascular insufficiencies, wound grafts and any other wound care or hyperbaric oxygen needs.
• Emphasize health promotion as well as acute and chronic disease management.
• Augment a physician’s ability to provide medical services to patients.
• Collect and document data, conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order and schedule laboratory studies and professional consultations, and provide direct patient care services.

• Qualified candidates with at least 3 years of experience working as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in a wound care setting.
• Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as an NP in the State of Georgia with national certification, OR licensed as a Physician Assistant and approved to practice as a PA in Georgia with national certification.
