Position OverviewSuccessful State Farm Agent is seeking a qualified professional to join a winning team as an Insurance and Financial Services Agent Team Member. We are looking for an energetic professional who can help our business grow through value‑based conversations and remarkable customer experience. Responsibilities- Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
- Hourly pay plus commission/bonus.
- Paid time off (vacation and personal/sick days).
- Valuable experience and growth potential within the agency.
- Sales experience (outside sales, inside sales, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred.
- Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Enthusiastic about the role of insurance and financial products in helping people manage risks and realize their dreams.
- Self‑motivated, detail oriented, and dedicated to customer service.
- Ability to work in a team environment and achieve mutually agreed‑upon marketing goals.
- Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain).
- Life and Health license (must be able to obtain).
This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must successfully complete licensing requirements and training programs. State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees; the agents’ employees are not employees of State Farm.
