Electrician Associate I – Hiring Immediately

Shift Maintenance Electrician

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues with minimal supervision.
• Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures, including lock‑out/tag‑out.
• Read blueprints & wiring diagrams for the installation & repair of equipment and the facility.
• Examine mechanical equipment to diagnose trouble. Disassemble, repair/replace parts, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment, including motors, pumps, conveyors, belts, and fans.
• Clean, lubricate & adjust functional parts of mechanical devices as necessary.
• Perform major electrical repairs, including 3‑phase, 480 V & troubleshooting PLCs, new installations of equipment, replace and test electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances.
• Use precision measuring tools/devices, hand tools, and testing instruments.
• Inspect and test electrical equipment, lighting, signal, communication, and power circuits.
• Isolate defects in wiring, switches, motors, and other electrical equipment using testing instruments such as an ammeter, ohmmeter, voltmeter, testing lamp, or megger.
• Replace faulty switches, sockets, and other elements of electrical systems.
• Remove or replace electrical transformers & lighting fixtures. Complete circuits according to specifications.
• Ensure electrical work conforms to OEM requirements and safety codes.
• Inspect completed repairs.
• Requisition new parts and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area throughout the shift.
• Communicate problems encountered throughout the shift to the production supervisor, maintenance lead, acting supervisor, or maintenance supervisor.
• Install lighting fixtures and replace bulbs and ballast.
• Operate any equipment needed to perform the job.
• Perform other related duties to contribute to the success of the operation as assigned by supervision.
• Must be capable of covering both mechanical and electrical equipment without support on off shifts.

• Computer literacy in desktop applications and Maintenance Connection CMMS.
• Skilled in using precision measurement devices.
• Highly organized, problem solver, able to handle multiple tasks, self‑motivated with a strong sense of accountability.
• Good written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate with people at all levels within the organization effectively.
• Able to act and show best work practice, understand work design, and respond to issues without specific instructions.
• Must be a team player.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; technical school credentials preferred.
• Preferred skills: knowledge of pneumatics, blueprints/schematic readings (mechanical/electrical), welding, using shop equipment, and fabrication.
