GEORGIA GENERATOR PRO is seeking a Generator Installation Technician to support electrical installation projects and ensure quality workmanship on-site in Covington, GA.
Position SummaryThe Installation Technician will assist with installing electrical systems and components according to project specifications, safety requirements, and applicable codes. This role is hands-on and focused on producing reliable, professional results while supporting a team environment on active job sites.
You will work alongside experienced technicians and project staff to complete installations, verify work readiness, and maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the project lifecycle.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in installing generator systems, wiring, and associated components according to project plans, diagrams, and instructions
Prepare job sites by organizing materials, setting up equipment, and ensuring the workspace is safe and efficient
Support testing and verification of installed components to confirm proper installation and functionality
Follow safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment and adherence to jobsite protocols
Maintain jobsite cleanliness and keep tools and materials organized to support smooth project execution
Ability to perform hands-on work on active job sites
Basic understanding of electrical installation practices and safe work procedures
Willingness to follow instructions and learn established workflows while contributing to team success
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Reliable attendance and professionalism in supporting project timelines
Prior experience assisting with electrical installation or related construction/trades work
Familiarity with reading basic electrical schematics, diagrams, and installation instructions
Demonstrated experience working safely in a team setting on job sites
Ability to troubleshoot minor installation issues and elevate concerns appropriately
Hourly rate: $18.00 - $22.00
