Position OverviewZion Baptist Church of Newton County, in Covington, GA, is seeking a seasoned, veteran Pastor to proclaim the Gospel and to love, care for, and minister to its body of believers. Zion Baptist is a Bible based church.
Responsibilities- Preaching and teaching God’s word faithfully.
- Mission-minded ministry: take the Word outside the walls of the church.
- Active in evangelism and discipleship.
- Act as shepherd for the flock: knowing, loving, and serving its members.
- Pastoral care through prayer, visitation, and counseling.
- Lead worship and nurture intimate growth in the Savior.
- Called man of God, loves what he does and is excited about it.
- Love for the lost and a committed desire for them to have a saving knowledge of Christ.
- Reliance on the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Salary is negotiable.
