Forklift Operator

Our client, a leading distribution center specializing in logistics and supply chain management, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be an essential part of the warehouse operations supporting the inbound, outbound, and inventory movement teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

** Shift:
** Night shift 8p - 6a

** What's the Job?*
* + Operate cherry picker, reach truck, or turret truck (Crown lifts) to load and unload products safely and efficiently.

+ Process customer orders by scanning bar codes, picking, labeling, and packing items accurately.

+ Build pallets, re-palletize products, and manage shipment packaging with precision.

+ Utilize RF technology and WMS to ensure accurate inbound and outbound shipments.

+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following SOP and safety guidelines.

** What's Needed?*
* + High School diploma, GED, or 2 years of relevant experience.

+ Experience operating material handling equipment such as order pickers, reach trucks, and turret trucks.

+ Ability to obtain forklift certification in accordance with company guidelines.

+ Good verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

+ Ability to read and interpret distribution documents and perform basic calculations.
