Our client, a leading organization in the distribution and logistics industry, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate you will be part of the warehouse team supporting efficient product handling and distribution. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Operator 1, Packaging Operations
Location: Covington, GA
Pay Range: $13.61
What's the Job?
- Processing customer orders, including scanning bar codes, labeling boxes, and preparing packages for shipment.
- Palletizing completed orders by scanning, retrieving, and placing products on pallets.
- Re-palletizing products to ensure proper shipment readiness.
- Operating dock manifest duties such as scanning pallets and running shrink wrap.
- Transporting pallets using material handling equipment as needed.
What's Needed?
- Ability to effectively communicate ideas and business information.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced distribution environment.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read and interpret distribution documents.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment and RF scanners.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
