Covington Latin School (CLS) is a co‑educational, Catholic, accelerated college preparatory school serving academically gifted students in the greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky region. The Opportunity

Covington Latin School seeks a visionary, faith‑filled, and experienced educational leader to serve as its next Head of School. The Head of School will be responsible for upholding the school's commitment to academic excellence, Catholic values, and the development of students into future leaders. Reporting to the President of Thomas More University, the Head of School will work collaboratively to advance the mission of CLS while leveraging the strategic advantages of its new university partnership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide dynamic, mission‑driven leadership to CLS, ensuring alignment with Catholic values and the classical education model.
  • Oversee all aspects of academic and student life, fostering a culture of intellectual challenge, moral formation, and leadership development.
  • Serve as the chief ambassador of the school, promoting its mission to prospective families, alumni, and the broader community.
  • Ensure the recruitment, retention, and professional development of an outstanding faculty and staff.
  • Maintain financial stewardship, working collaboratively with Thomas More University leadership to sustain and grow the school’s financial health.
  • Engage actively with parents, alumni, donors, and external stakeholders to foster a strong sense of community and philanthropic support.
  • Lead strategic planning initiatives that position CLS as the premier choice for gifted Catholic education in the region.
