North Key Community Care and Northern MHMR Properties, Inc. are seeking an Accountant Lead to oversee financial operations and staff while ensuring compliance with state, federal, and organizational requirements. Reports To: Lead Manager of Financial Systems
Employment Type: Full-Time

Base pay range
: $60,000.00/yr - $72,000.00/yr

• Oversee and maintain the General Ledger and subsidiary ledgers, ensuring accurate financial records and reports.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, preparing timely Balance Sheets, Statements of Revenue & Expense, and related reports.
• Ensure accuracy and proper documentation for all financial reports and accounts.
• Manage annual external audits, cost report audits, and 990 preparation.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff to support growth and efficiency.
• Collaborate with financial leadership to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive fiscal information, including payroll data.
• Represent North Key in a professional manner with staff, vendors, contractors, and the general public.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant accounting experience.
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial processes, reporting, and audit management.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
