Technical Project Manager

Dean Houston is building a brand-new Technical Project Manager role and we’re looking for someone ready to shape how our agency delivers digital excellence.

This isn’t just another project management position. It’s a chance to define how a strategy-driven marketing agency plans, builds, and launches the digital solutions that bring ideas to life, from websites and integrations to automation tools and everything in between.

As our Technical Project Manager, you’ll collaborate with developers, designers, marketers, and strategists to turn big ideas into seamless, high-performing digital experiences. You’ll translate creative goals into clear technical direction, ensuring every project runs smoothly, efficiently, and with purpose.

• Evaluate technical feasibility of projects and ensure development work aligns with best practices in security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Conduct first-pass development estimations.
• Align developer skills and availability through Asana’s workload tracking to ensure projects are resourced effectively and delivered on schedule.
• Maintain our structured Internal communications and documentation across teams through our Asana project management workflow.
• Document QA results within the project management system (e.g., Asana), launch readiness, and post-launch performance to maintain visibility, accountability, and accurate reporting in real-time.

• 3+ years of experience in technical program management.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Asana (or very comparable tool, ) as a technical project management platform — structuring projects, dependencies, and automations to support transparent communication and efficient team workflows.
• Possess working knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, APIs, CMS platforms such as Word Press, hosting environments, etc.).
• Experience working with developers and using tools like Git, Jira, Asana, Trello, or Click Up.

The total target compensation for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 USD annually, commensurate with experience, expertise and internal equity.
