Stites & Harbison, PLLC, a full-service law firm, is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to work with seasoned product liability lawyers.
This is NOT a remote position. Only candidates within commuting distance of Covington, KY will be considered.
Responsibilities- Obtain and analyze medical records and prepare medical summaries
- Search information from court-related databases as well as other online sources of case information
- Determine, prepare and organize materials needed for expert witness review
- Review, analyze and organize document productions
- Summarize transcripts; assemble chronologies of pertinent facts and key documents
- Trial preparation and support including reviewing and preparing records and exhibits
- Maintain spreadsheets to track discovery, dismissals, and status of cases
Skills and Qualifications
- Extensive civil litigation experience, preferably product liability or medical malpractice
- Technical skills in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel
- Must be able to multitask and successfully manage a variety of plaintiffs and demands daily
- Associate, Bachelor’s or Certificate in Paralegal Studies desired
