Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient Wound Care Job Summary
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Outpatient Wound Care department. This is a part‑time position (24 hours per week) on the first shift with no weekends, evenings, or holidays required. The RN may travel to our Covington, Ft. Thomas, and Grant County locations.

- Provide evidence‑based clinical care to designated patients utilizing the nursing process.
- Delegate tasks appropriately to licensed and unlicensed health‑care team members.
- Assess and coordinate the care of patients requiring wound care assessment, management, and treatment.
- Work in an intake/wrap‑up role with potential to advance to case manager.
- Act as a Hyperbaric Registered Nurse (HRN) in addition to outpatient wound care duties, including attendant and control operator of the hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) chamber under the direction of the HBO physician.
- Provide care in compliance with all safety procedures and protocols, ensuring patient dignity, kindness, and empathy at all times.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- If eligible, hold a Compact (multi‑state) license in their primary state of residence.
- Licensed to practice nursing in the state where work is performed.
- Meet contact hour requirements for licensure, including all state‑required courses.
- For HRN duties, complete the Undersea Hyperbaric Medicine Society (UHMS) approved HBO Team Training Course.
- Knowledgeable regarding basic wound care principles and practices.
- Successful completion of preceptorship and orientation to the health system and clinical area.
- Demonstrated ability to critically think and problem‑solve in clinical situations.
- Minimum of one year current clinical nursing experience.
