We are looking for a
Commercial Territory Manager for the Greater Cincinnati Market to help take us to the next level!
Summary/Objective
The Commercial Territory Manager is responsible for increasing sales by gaining new customers and by growing and maintaining existing customers in accordance with a predetermined, aggressive monthly sales budget, with set targets for sales dollars, margin dollars, and margin percentages.

- Must have a proactive approach to sales, focusing on identifying and securing new customers and business opportunities, rather than simply responding to existing leads.
- Responsible for building and managing sales territory to maximize sales coverage and revenue growth.
- Must have a deep understanding of the company's products (roofing, windows, siding), services, and the broader building materials market is crucial for success
- Achieves sales and profit objectives on a consistent basis. Promotes and sells entire product line.
- Build connections with various stakeholders, including residential and commercial contractors, presenting professional proposals and quotes, and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Develop new customers and sales as per assigned goals or quotas.
- Travels throughout designated sales territory to call on regular and prospective customers.
- Creates loyalty among Mueller Roofing Distributors customers and sells value over price.
- Reads blueprints, prepares take-offs, estimates, and formal quotes. Follow-up with customers.
- Constantly strive and work to improve sales and customer service skills. Develops and maintains knowledge of industry products, trends, and technology.
- Assist customers with credit application process.
- Communicates, works with, and supports inside sales staff in a team effort to provide exceptional customer service in building loyal relationships.

- Proactively prospect and build relationships with customers and have a drive to generate new business and grow territories.
- Strong desire and commitment to sales success.
- Excellent presentation and closing skills.
- Strong product knowledge across all lines.
- Bachelor’s degree in sales, business, or marketing or three years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Requires knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint).
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee may lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and regular days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Additional days/hours may be warranted due to business needs.
Travel
While the Territory Manager is based out of the branch location, he/she will travel to customers, job sites, and events daily. Must possess a valid drivers’ license and provide a reliable vehicle for travel.

- Must speak and read English. Bilingual in Spanish a plus!
