Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Electrician/ Electrician Installation
Schedule: Hybrid/Swing Shift | 40–45 Hours per Week
Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician with a strong electrical background to join our maintenance team. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of industrial equipment and automated systems to ensure safe and efficient plant operations. The ideal candidate will have experience working with 3-phase electrical systems, control circuits, industrial maintenance practices, and production equipment
. Mechanical troubleshooting skills are highly preferred.
This role will primarily work a swing shift schedule
, providing support during critical production hours and bridging day and evening operations.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical issues on industrial equipment.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production machinery, conveyors, and automated systems.
- Troubleshoot and maintain 3-phase electrical systems, motors, motor controls, VFDs, relays, contractors, and control circuits.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical components and equipment.
- Support equipment startups, changeovers, and operational improvements.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
- Perform mechanical repairs including bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, conveyors, and pneumatic systems.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders.
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and lockout/tagout requirements.
- Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience with:
- 3-phase electrical systems
- Control circuits
- Motors and motor controls
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
- Electrical diagnostics and repair
- Mechanical aptitude and experience repairing industrial equipment.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in an industrial environment.
This position will work a hybrid/swing shift schedule and may follow one of the following options:
- Monday–Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
OR - Four 10-hour shifts: 10:00 AM – 8:30 PM with a 3-day weekend
