Store Person

Maintain the stock levels of the workshop and keep equipment available in ready-to-use condition. Based in Henderson (no FIFO), reporting to the Workshop Manager.

• Maintain parts and consumable stock levels.
• Procure all IKAD stocked items and assist with project procurement.
• Monitor and inspect incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery dockets.
• Load and unload vehicles using forklift and overhead cranes.
• Repair and maintain tools, equipment and vehicles.
• Maintain equipment registers including electrical and rigging.
• Handle incoming and outgoing goods.
• Assist with general workshop duties.
• Complete all records and paperwork accurately as directed and required.
• Observe duty of care obligations and personally contribute to making the workplace safe.
• Ensure compliance at all times with company and client HSEQ standards and complete HSEQ documentation accurately and on time.
• Undertake any other duties, accountabilities and responsibilities as directed.
• Previous stores experience in a fabrication and mechanical workshop.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Good knowledge of power tools.
• Willingness to learn and be flexible with duties.
• Must be physically fit.
• Reliable, hardworking and punctual.
• Valid motor vehicle driver's licence (WA C class).
• Commitment to work as a team player.
• Adaptable to a changing environment.
• Able to liaise at all levels and across functional boundaries.
• Prepared to work overtime.
• First Aid Certificate.
• High risk licences (Rigging / Dogman, EWP, Forklift).
• Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights tickets.
• Recognised training certification in electrical tagging.
